Client initiated a program to brand their retail environment. They outsourced manufacturing to China but failed to receive the quality they wanted. Eventually the client arranged a new bidding contest covering wide range of office furniture.

Solution

We received the RFQ from our local partner and started to map and evaluate the Chinese resources for the project. The original quality issues were mostly coming from the use of low end resources in China. We chose quality manufacturers for the client’s project, made prototypes and samples of each item, then shipped the samples to US for final approval. We gave our final quote after all the samples were signed off.

Results

Our partner won the job for us. Together with our resources we managed to improve the quality each item to acceptable levels while keeping the cost reasonable.
