A RFQ was published by the client in the US. Our local partner and distributor asked us to give a quote for the requested this large manufacturing project.
Solution
We received the RFQ and requested that a sample unit to be shipped to China. Using said sample we worked with our Chinese resources and sent the quote to the US after arranging a bidding contest in China.
Results
Our partner won the job for us. They managed to make planned profit while selling the units to the client at 30% lower prices than the competition. We made and shipped complete units to the US for several years with ZERO quality issues.
